held in the 10th International 
Festival of Guitar from Morelia, Michoacán. Mex. (year 2000).

Second prize in the Competition 5th National Competition and Festival of Guitar from Taxco, Guerrero. Mex. (year 2002).

Second prize in the National 
Competition of Classical Guitar Performers, Paracho, Mex. 2003. 
Jury Contest led by Zoran Dukic.

Honorable Mention for Quality of Performance in the 3rd National Competition of Guitar from Culiacán, Sinaloa. Mex. (year 2004)

The piece Siena “Homenaje a 
Andrew York” (“tribute to Andrew York”) was included in the 
obligatory repertory in order to participate in the 5th National 
Contest of Guitar from Culiacán, Sinaloa. Mex. Edition 2006. 
And also it has been included 
in the album “Epifanía” of the 
Mexican guitarist Cecilio Perera, 
who the piece was dedicated for.
 
 
In 2002, he finished his major under the guidance of guitarists Roberto Aguirre and Mauricio Hernández. 
He unanimously got his degree in bachelor of music, option guitar.
